CES 2013: Performance Designed Products Announces New Additions to Afterglow® and Rock Candy™ Lines at CES 2013

Performance Designed Products LLC (PDP), the market-leading manufacturer of third-party video game peripherals and mobile device accessories, today announced new audio additions to its Afterglow^® and Rock Candy™ lines that will be shown at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Under the Afterglow^® brand, PDP is introducing Afterglow^® Wired On-Ear Gaming Headsets for the Xbox 360^® and PS3^®, which include:

• Extraordinary sound, with studio engineered and professionally tuned acoustics.
• 40mm tuned drivers
• Incredible comfort, with a lightweight design specifically for marathon gaming
• Enhanced features including a fully removable noise-cancelling microphone
• Fully customizable headset with interchangeable headbands and ear cushions
• Signature Afterglow^® lighting

PDP's Afterglow^® Wired On-Ear Headset for the Xbox 360 and PS3 will have a suggested retail price of $39.99 and will be available in Summer 2013.

PDP is also introducing its first CE headphones. The Afterglow^® CE Headphones are available in on-ear and in-ear styles. The AFTERGLOW CE line will come in two designs, one for universal mobile use and a separate Apple (News - Alert) iOS device specific design. The Afterglow^® Wired On-Ear Headset for Apple iOS devices feature LED lights and glow in the dark cables (to enhance the visibility of nighttime runners), in-line microphone and volume controls, and three lighting modes: On, Off, and Pulsing to the beat of your music. The Apple iOS edition suggested retail price and availability is TBA.

The Afterglow^® In-Ear Headphones includes the following features:

• Universal compatibility (i.e., works with all mobile devices)
• Extraordinary sound, with studio engineered and professional tuned acoustics
• Lightweight sweat-resistant (designed specifically for runners and other exercising)
• Memory wire ear ook to ensure perfect fit
• LED lighting with glow-in-the-dark cable to enhance the visibility of nighttime runners
• Three lighting modes: On, Off, and Pulsing to the beat of your music
• Ergonomic charging case with cable management system

PDP will also be releasing a new set of Ear Buds under it existing Rock Candy™ line. This new line will work with all mobile devices and feature an in-ear hybrid design with 8mm speakers to provide ideal size and sound, in addition to incredibly comfortable memory foam ear buds and an in-line microphone. The Rock Candy™ Ear Buds will be available with multiple color options and a suggested retail price of $14.99 for release in Summer 2013.
