In June 2012 Jabra and analysis institute Frost & Sullivan conducted a study** to evaluate 302 companies' strategic use of Unified Communications, including decision making, benefits, challenges and expected return on investment by implementing UC technology. According to seven out of 10 decision makers; UC holds the power to simplify and streamline communications, transform corporate cultures and remake the way employees work and collaborate.

When asked about the UC peripherals supporting a successful adoption, more than six out of 10 respondents agreed that headsets play an important role in employee adoption of Unified Communications technologies. Respondents highlighted hands free communications (58%) and the improved audio quality (42%) as drivers towards an increased use of voice applications.

* Interoperability testing is designed to simulate typical customer configurations, and does not replace the need for on-site testing in conjunction with actual implementation.

** The survey was conducted by Jabra and Frost & Sullivan in June 2012; 302 business managers in Australia, France, Germany, Japan, United Kingdom and United States were surveyed. The complete survey results will be available on Jabra.com later this year.
