Giant Multinational Companies Secretly Develop and Promote Industry-changing Wireless Monitoring and Control Technologies Allegedly Stolen From Australian Inventor Alvin Borthwick

Dec 04, 2012 (EWORLDWIRE via Comtex) -- At a media conference held at Technology Park Bentley, Alvin Borthwick, an inventor from Western Australia, today described the role played by giant corporations associated with the creation of Zigbee, RF4CE and Zwave technologies, in helping to orchestrate and conceal the theft of his game-changing wireless monitoring and control concept.

Borthwick's idea proposed battery-powered sensors and devices that perform unattended auto surveillance, while spending 99.9 percent of their lives asleep. Borthwick noted: trade secrets associated with his wireless monitoring and control concept had been secretly obtained by founders of Zigbee and Zwave consortiums from an organized crime syndicate operating on a transnational level; then developed and promoted by these consortiums, as industry-changing solutions.

In 2009, the purveyors of Zigbee technology formed another ZigbeeRF4CE Alliance to develop and promote a radio-based solution for enabling interactive remote control units; they claimed their solution for obtaining status messages from devices was not previously possible. According to Borthwick, "It's amazing - as far back as late 2000, as part of my concept, I communicated the idea for a handheld interrogator that could receive device status to a Perth-based prototype manufacturer, whose company was later discovered associated with Invensys and Eaton; two of the principal founders of the Zigbee consortium." " ... The Zigbee wireless connectivity solution will be embedded in consumer electronics, home and building automation, industrial controls, PC peripherals, medical sensor applications, toys and games. Zigbee will provide customers with the freedom, flexibility, and convenience of a standards-based world without wires." Source: Zigbee Alliance press release 21 October 2002 " ... This is a multiple billion dollar market," said L. Bahl.

"I hope Australians will see through the blatant lies corporations put out through their codes of conduct, about maintaining ethical business practices. My discussion today highlights how readily these companies will engage in theft of others' intellectual property, while taking every step to protect their own IP. It also highlights the extent to which these giant corporations are prepared to go in order to conceal misappropriation of trade secrets obtained from theft of my idea," Borthwick concluded.

His other creative ideas include: retractable safety syringe solution for needle-stick injury; a 360-degree electronic billboard for advertising; an online directory for social networking; an online music factory for creating virtual bands; and an electronic switchboard for 24/7 business management with promotions.
