Quickflix confident of HBO support despite exodus

Online video company Quickflix held its AGM on 30 November 2012. Chairman Stephen Langford said that HBO is fully supportive of the Australian firm's current actions. There has been speculation that HBO, which holds $A10mn worth of redeemable stock in Quickflix, could seek to redeem its shares in the wake of the departure of Quickflix CEO Chris Taylor and a number of directors. Langford said HBO has indicated that it will not do this.
