WSO2 and Industrie IT Partner to Deliver SOA and Enterprise Application Integration Solutions to the Australian Market
PALO ALTO, Calif. & SYDNEY --(Business Wire)--
WSO2 and Industrie IT today announced a strategic partnership to deliver
service-oriented architecture (SOA) and application integration
solutions to enterprises in Australia. WSO2
delivers the industry's most comprehensive middleware platforms for
enabling SOA and composite application development and deployment
on-premise and in the cloud. Industrie
IT
is an IT services provider with a successful track record in large
projects for the Australian government, financial services, and other

Through the partnership, the growing base of Australian enterprises
moving to the cloud can take advantage of WSO2's 100% open source
middleware with locally based, best-in-class IT implementation services
from Industrie IT.
"Industrie IT has been moving enterprise operations into the cloud for
several years now, and we're finding that large businesses are
increasingly gaining the confidence to shift core operations into an
SOA," said Managing Director of Industrie IT Con Zeritis.
"This shift is throwing a spotlight onto middleware that ties
cloud-based operations together-and we have invested significant
resources in researching the major offerings from across the vendor
stack. In our view, WSO2 is one of the best completely open source
middleware platforms available, and we are pleased to add it to our
portfolio," Zeritis said.
Under terms of the agreement, Industrie IT will use WSO2's middleware to
provide new and existing customers with on-premise and on-demand IT
solutions for optimizing their business processes and operational
efficiencies. Additionally, WSO2 will provide Industrie IT with
technial, sales and marketing support to promote SOA adoption and help
customers achieve the high availability, high performance, and
flexibility they require for IT and business agility.
WSO2's award-winning platforms include the WSO2
Carbon enterprise middleware platform and WSO2
Stratos cloud middleware platform, which are based on the same code
to enable a seamless migration between on-premise and the cloud. All
WSO2 software products are released under the Apache License 2.0, and
they do not carry any licensing fees. World-class production support
from WSO2 ensures that users can run mission-critical applications on
the platforms with confidence.
"Enterprise IT customers in Australia are increasingly seeking the
leading edge in innovation, greater flexibility, and lower cost of
acquisition and ownership through open source technologies," said WSO2
Vice President of Business Development and Product Design Jonathan
Marsh. "We are thrilled to join forces with Industrie IT, bringing
WSO2's world-class support and open-source middleware platform together
with Industrie IT's strong record of success. This powerful combination
