ATIS Board of Directors Elects Sprint's Stephen Bye and Cisco's Nick Adamo to Leadership Positions

At Sprint, Stephen Bye is responsible for driving the company's corporate and technology strategy, network architecture and global standards; innovation center and the emerging technology lab; as well as new business and service model development. He has more than 20 years of engineering, operations, product development, business planning and marketing experience with telecom, cable and wireless service providers. Before joining Sprint, Bye was vice president of Wireless at Cox Communications. He also has held executive positions with AT&T, inCode Wireless, BellSouth International, Optus Communications and Telstra.


Nick Adamo leads Cisco's global segments and architectures team, which spans across sales and engineering to accelerate the company's most strategic innovations for both Enterprise and Service Provider customers. He plays a critical role in defining and leading Cisco's strategy to align company resources to deliver business and technology solutions and architectures that enhance customers' overall profitability, are unique in the marketplace and enable innovation in end-user consumption of technology. Prior to his current role, Adamo was senior vice president for Cisco's service provider business globally where he was responsible for significant segment growth and increased business relevance for customers in the rapidly evolving telecommunications industry.
